Know your mobile!
Reviews about Samsung Monte
I am currently using this mobile and am very happy with its battery life! The sound quality is also awesome. Apart from that the other good features are:-
1. The slideshow is available for the pictures in Gallery.
2. On tilting the mobile, the picture slides towards that direction and the next picture comes.
3. One finger touch to zoom the pictures
4. Music can be stored from the FM free of cost
5. Multiple screens to manage different gadgets
6. Upto 7 screens for the menu
7. The wallpaper can be set as the enlarged picture
8. 3 megapixel camera
But, there are many restrictions in the usage and applications as well.
1. The message tone can not be changed..
2. The message can be sent to max 10 people at one go ( if they r not in group)
3. No copy paste feature is there
4. Multiple Applications can not be opened simultaneously
5. Music Player: One can not play the music as per the folder structure as stored in the gallery. It can be all, or artist wise or recently played.
6. No themes can be applied.
7. No Flash :(
If anyone has any solutions or turn around for these probs.. do let me know!! Others

Which is more important – internships or short-term courses?
Practical application is the most effective and efficient way to learn. Internships provide a platform for the students to practice and implement what they have learnt so far. Although, the short-term courses hone skill set and increase the knowledge level, but unless this learnt theory is applied into the real world scenario, it is like a concept learnt which is conveniently forgotten later on.
We, the Indian students have amassed huge knowledge and our fundamentals are strong, but unfortunately, this is restricted to the theoretical dimension. We should now focus on implementing this knowledge into the real world applications. Many times, the things which we learn are much different than what we use at the organisations and this I experienced in my professional career.
While studying, we have only a vague idea of how exactly are we going to use these things and why are we studying a particular subject which does not seem to be relevant to me. Internships shape these thoughts as they actually show the real world applications which are used in day to day life.
Another advantage with the internships is that they make the students realize the fact that they need to be abreast with the latest technology and have to be dynamic enough to adapt to the changes. Technology is continuously evolving and the students get a chance to lay their hands on the latest technology which is seldom possible in short-term courses.
Also, mere learning the concepts will not make that an impact as much practically applying them will. Moreover, there are many more complementary skills which students learn during internship which include soft skills, management, leadership, team work, presentation skills etc. All this shape the overall personality of the student and he is more confident, practical and rational than by just learning any short-term course.
So what are you thinking? Get going and make the best use your summer vacations by grabbing relevant internships!
