Just Wanna Know Why

Many things I let go..
About many others, I don't think so much..
But there is one thing I would like to know
Why you did so, why you did so?

I was happy in my life alone
You came and told me- "You are the one",
Showed me love,
Promised to be together
For then and Forever....

It wasn't that I was not happy before,
But you increased it even more,
I learned to trust, share and care,
Magic of your love was spread everywhere!!

Back then,
Couldn't stop thinking about you,
Ecstasies started turning to be true,
Got used to be happy and glee
Life became complete with you and me!
You were all over my mind like a spell,
I had found my heaven in this hell..

But, one fine day, you walked upto me,
Looking more sombre then you normally did,
"We can't continue, we'll have to stop..
It's All Over.. believe me or not"
Before I could ask, you took a promise
Don't ask the reason, just do what I say
Loved you so much that i couldn't deny
You left me with no choice!

My heartbeats skipped my heart that time..
Mind and heart lost their rhyme,
Heart not ready to believe what you said
Mind accepted and moved away!!

That wasn't mere end of my relationship
But also my happiness, joys and fantasies..
Everything came to a standstill
Since my feelings were killed..

The time and world kept on moving,
But I was merely dragging..
Sitting alone, sometimes I sigh,
and say, " I just wanna know why"...
